When I Grow Up...

There are some people in life to know exactly what they want to do at a young age. They have it all figured out, and there is no doubt in their minds that they are making the wrong career choice decision. I have never been one of those lucky people. My mind has changed many times since I was little. I remember for a project in second grade we had to choose what we thought we would be when we grew up and I chose a garbage man because I wanted to ride on the back of the garbage truck. What was I thinking?! I'll answer that I wasn't. Over the years my career plans have changed many times, but other than the garbage man career they have always been involved with art.

Since I sm graduating this year I was told by my mom that I need to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. and I finally came t the conclusion that i want to be a photographer!! My dream job would be to be a fashion photographer for a magazine or runway. So i can see me moving to LA!

I am planning to go to college for 4 years to get my degree because there is a lot more things I need to learn about photography to be successful.  I don't think not going to college would be a very smart idea. And then off into the world to find a job, hopefully I will be able to get one with this economy!

  1. You know I don't remember that project in 2nd grade...but wanting to be a garbage man just to ride on the back of the truck is kinda hilarious and cute. I also have changed my mind on what I wanted to do in life. Sometimes i've wanted to be an accountant or a physisist so i'm just doing the basic classes and a couple of fun ones at ICC till i know for sure what I want to do.

  2. I love the idea of being a garbage collector/artist - you could look for all sorts of found objects to photograph. :)
